Dr. Tom A. Royer

Dr. Tom A. Royer is a Professor, Extension Entomologist and IPM Coordinator at Oklahoma State University with the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology. He has statewide Extension responsibilities for insect management in cereal grains and field crops. Tom is also responsible for administering IPM Oklahoma!, Oklahoma Cooperative Extension’s Integrated Pest Management program, funded by USDA’s National Institute for Food and Agriculture.

Tom joined the faculty at OSU 1997. Before coming to OSU, Tom worked as an area Extension IPM Specialist with the University of Illinois and as a research associate with the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in Weslaco, Texas. Tom received his B.S. from Iowa State University, his M.S. from South Dakota State University and his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.

Tom was also in the first Master Gardener Class in Brazos County Texas!
